Copyright Considerations: All works displayed here and all photographs of those works are the property of the individual artist. The artist's works and photographs may not be copied, photographed, electronically transmitted, sketched, painted or reproduced in any manner wuthout the express written consent of the copyright holder.
Custom orders: Please email us with your special requests -- almost anything is possible, so don't be afraid to ask! We like to have all possible details in writing so everything is totally clear, but if you have questions before you can come up with details that's also an excellent way to begin the creative process. And if you are interested to commission a brand-new work, we will put you directly in touch with the artist of your choice. Just start by telling us as much as you can in the initial communication!
Shipping Variants: Fountains/sculptures from the Harvey Gallery and the Earthstone Studio will be shipped free of charge within the continental United States. After your order is paid in full and details are confirmed, you will be notified of the approximate shipping date. Please allow at least 4-6 weeks as each fountain/sculpture is made by hand as it comes in. You will receive specific information when your order is shipped. Fountains from Kazemi and Adagio do not include free shipping; this will be calculated after your order has been confirmed, and you will receive additional information about that payment. When the second payment has been received, you will be notified about a target shipping date, with tracking details to be provided. Again, the fountains will be made by hand after your order is paid, so you will need to have some patience! [For a "ballpark" idea: shipping for most tabletop fountains will be less than $100, many considerably less. Most large wall fountains will be about $100 per section of stone or mirror.]
Damaged Goods: Our fountains are so well packed and the shippers so well selected that problems hardly exist. However, if your fountain sculpture is damaged in transit we will take good care of you! Please take the following important steps to expedite the process, as the shippng compny will be liable for damages incurred en route: 1) Do not sign for delivery without a visual inspection of the package exterior. 2) If there is any (even minor) evidence of damage, conduct further inspection in the presence of the driver. If your fountain includes a slab of stone or a mirror, inspect this regardless of the exterior appearance. 3) Take digital photos. 4) Request whatever official documentation is used by the shipping company -- they should have a form. Fill it out in the presence of the driver, and be sure he/she signs it too! 5) Send us a description of the problem together with photo(s) and we will provide further instructions. Depending on the problem, it may not be necessary to ship the entire package back (but keep the packing materials just in case.)
Faulty parts: You have ordered piece of art created to the highest standards of workmanship and faulty parts are extraordinarily rare. Please install your fountain carefully and according to the instructions provided. If your piece is large and heavy, be sure you have adequate help -- we are not responsible for anything dropped! Troubleshooting minor issues such as water flow, splashing etc. should be easy if you have been careful to level the fountain correctly. Almost every initial request for replacement can be traced to user error, not following instructions, being in a hurry . . . but don't worry, replacement parts are indeed available, it's just about who will pay for them!
Maintenance: Fountain care instructions are provided -- please follow them! Most pump problems, for example, result from forgetting to add water as the level diminishes due to evaporation. All fountains offered here are low-maintenance and designed to offer you many years of relatively care-free enjoyment.
Returns -- and Planning Ahead: Your fountain (or sculpture) was not mass-produced -- it was created especially for you, according to your specifications. You had the opportunity to participate in its creation by choosing size, finish, color or etc. -- and sending it back to exchange for a different item is not really an option.
Please plan carefully! If you need to match a particular shade of green as closely as possible, sending a swatch or at least emailing a photo will be better than saying "sort of purplish-green." If the fountain will sit on a tiny table in your hall alcove, measure the space before you order the larger size. If it's a wall unit, be sure to confirm the distance it will come out from the wall too. Remember that your fountain will only run if it is plugged in! The normal cord will be 6 ft. long. Is there an outlet in the neighborhood? Can you have one installed directly behing the fountain, or would you be stuck with a huge extension cord running across the room? Is your garden or patio pre-wired? Would you like the outlet wired so that you can operate your fountain from a convenient switch located elsewhere?
Exceptions: In rare cases (house destroyed by tornado?) there may be exceptions to the no-returns policy. These are considered on a case-by-case basis -- and in every case we will certainly try to work with you to find a solution. We want all our customers to be as delighted with our fountain sculptures as we are!
In all cases you will have 48 hours to contact us to seek a solution.
